Episode four and the first of the Semi-finals screens this weekend. Mon, December 10 2007

This Saturday 15th December at midday we see Robbert Westerdyk go head-to-head with Andrew Centofanti in episode four of the KingGee Jack of All Trades and on Sunday 16th - the first of the Semi-finals. The winner of heat 1 vs. the winner of heat 2. 

Robbert Westerdyk from Matcham in NSW is a builder/carpenter who is married with three daughters.  He built his second home from mud brick and sawn hardwood logs which took approximately 5 years to build from scratch.  He also completed the construction of a 28ft yacht and built props for Terrigal high school for Rock Eisteddford. 

Since 1988 Robert has been involved in Under water photography, he won an ward in 1996 in the novice section – Australian Underwater Photography of the Year Award plus his pictures also grace the covers of several Dive magazines.  He has photos that have appeared in Coffee table books and is working on his second calendar. 

For the past 7 years Robbert has been involved in and also on the committee of CARP(Central Coast Artificial Reef Project).  

Andrew Centofanti from Barmera in South Australia started his own building business at the age of Twenty-One and renovated his first house when he was Nineteen. Since he was a young boy he has been into trail bike riding and hunting. One of his favourite pastimes is clay shooting. He is incredibly passionate about motorbike riding and is a keen fisherman. 

He built a camper trailer for the family to enjoy going camping and a massive shed “workshop” where he makes wine. Andrew was also an Australian Champion of ‘Tug Of War’ representing South Australia. 

Andrew said: ‘I do not like to lose a competition, if you work hard at what you love doing it will show when it really counts.  Whether it be for work or pleasure, I like to get it right first time round’.
